Seems several other people on the net have been asking questions about products made by this seemingly-defunct company. Might as well add my $.02. I have a Paciphic Peripherals SubSystem 500, a box that fits under the Amiga 500, connects to the side expansion bus (with pass-through available), and allows one to connect two Zorro II cards. I'd like to use it to connect my Amiga A2090A hard drive controller and my Quantum 52meg SCSI 3.5" quarter-height drive. There are a few problems I see right now, though. 1) Although the socket for the SCSI cable on the drive has a connector to make sure that the cable can only plug in one way, the SCSI connector on the controller has no such thing. How can I tell which way I should plug the cable into the controller? 2) The drive also has a four-wire power connector. There is a similar, but smaller one on the SubSystem's board, although I can see no way of connecting it. Can/must I get some sort of adapter to plug them together? Or is there something on the controller that I need to plug into? Basically, my question is: how can I get this stuff to work together, cheaply and with minimum hassle? And please, no berating about the A2090A controller - it was used, and if it works with this setup, I'm happy. Please, SOMEBODY respond. E-mail is preferable. -MG "You know I never knew that it could be so strange...." ---------- Mark Gardner UUCP: uunet!cbmvax!amix!undrground!accangel Internet: undrground!accangel@amix.commodore.com

the cable should have a stripe on lead #1, and the board has a number "1"
on it next to pin 1. put the two together.
