I have an opportunity to purchase a CSA Turbo Amiga expansion box for an Amiga 1000 quite cheaply. I think I shall buy it no matter what but I still have a few questions for other CSA users. Heres what it is... a big box that plugs in the side of an A1000 a 20 meg hard drive 512K of ram that must be added using AddRAM I was wondering if anybody has any useful hacks for the CSA Turbo. I think that I could easily hack the Kickstart disk to add the ram automatically by modifying the code of the 'Kickmem' program. Has anybody tried and failed or succeded? The hard drive is not bootable, although a small bootable RAD disk would make the workbench disk needed only once. Has anybody hacked the kickstart to make the HD boot?? Currently the HD is normal format, is it OK with FastFileSystem? Any replies, tips or pointers will be greatly appreciated. Huw
