According to this month's Astronomy magazine, it is non-negligibly possible that there will be a copious Draconid meteor shower this year. Comet Giacobini-Zinner, the parent comet of this shower passed in front of the earth less than a month ago. The expected peak in on Wednesday, Oct. 9, although they suggest checking Tuesday night as well. Bob Bruccoleri
