I recently acquired a 1983 CSA model 724 68020/881 "Adaptor" board. I managed to plug it into the 68000 socket in my Amiga 2000. I wanted to determine some of the operating parameters for this board, and immediatly turned to SetCPU. I have two questions regarding the report given by SetCPU regarding this board, and about boards in general. 1. Running SetCPU with no arguments returns the CPU configuration. When I do this, SetCPU tells me I have a 68020/68881, but also tells me that it detects a "FPU logic error". What would causes this, and what can I do to fix it? 2. After installing this board, testing it with various programs and noticing some apparant increace in speed, I wonder, is there a utility which can determine the clock speed at which the CPU is currently running? The 68020 is rated at 12MHz and the 68881 is rated at 16MHz. I don't know if there is even a clock crystal on the board at all. If this thing is running at stock Amiga 2000 speed (7.16whatever MHz) then I would like to try upping the speed somehow. Any useful advice or information duly appreciated. Thanks...
