NATIONAL SPACE FORUM IN BOSTON, MONDAY, OCTOBER 28 -------------------------------------------------- The Presidentially appointed National Commission on Space will hold the eighth of a series of Public Forums on future civilian space goals. The Forum will be held Monday, October 28, at Faneuil Hall in Boston from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Forum is designed to solicit opinions from industry, academia, and the general public concerning long-range goals for the United States civilian space activity to the year 2035. A wide diversity of views is sought concerning the need for, pace, and timing of manned and unmanned explortaion and exploitation of space. Individuals wishing to testify should file a written statement summarizing the proposed testimony, including name, mailing address, telephone number, and (if appropriate) group represented, no later than Monday, October 21 to the following address: National Commission on Space Attn: Public Forums/Boston 490 L'Enfant Plaza East, SW Washington, DC 20024 Witnesses will be requested to limit their oral presentations before the Commission to approximately 10 minutes. A longer written statement may be submitted and will be made part of the Commissions open files.
