I had this keyboard. We were friends. It had a click I could really enjoy.
Then--the space bar went. Nothing else. Just the space bar. I called a
local dealer. The official fix: new keyboard. What am I gonna do with
no space bar? I bought a new one. Fine. Think is, this new keyboard is
the newer rubberier kind. Yeah. I'm use to it by now, but I miss my old
one. My question:
How does one troubleshoot the keyboard?
The key seems physically okay, is there a chip directly responsible for
polling the space bar? This is the ONLY key that doesn't work... I
refuse to do a software remap, 'cuz I LIKE the spce bar down there.
If any hardware GURUS have any suggestions, or can point me towards a
"Troubleshooting" book, I'd be real appreciative-like.
Thanks,
Mitch
