I have purchased vortex ATonce AT-emulator with adapter for A2000. But I can't get it up and running !!! Here are the details: ATonce with system disk version 1.27 My Amiga is B2000 motherboard rev. 4.4 AmigaDos 1.3 Kickstart 34.5 Workbench 34.20 Also installed are: -GVP Impact A2000-SCSI controller with FaaastROM upgrade -Seagate ST-157/N 46 Mb SCSI HD -Micropolis 1325 85 Mb ST506 HD (connected thru Adaptec ACB-4000 SCSI to ST506 adapter) -Exabyte EXB-8200 8 mm video tape drive (2.1 Gb) -Supra memory expansion card 2Mb populated First of all, ATonce fails to boot altogether if it is in any other slot than the very first one (CN605, closest to CPU). SupraRAM is in the next slot (CN604). If the emulator boots O.K. then next problem arises with memory check: If there is more than 512 kb DOS BASE memory defined in Installation, memory check will fail 80% of tries. (Does it have something to do with motherboard revision? Can it be upgraded? What is the current rev. state anyway?) If, against all odds, everything goes well this far, now comes the hardest part: DOS I have tried DOS 3.2, 3.3 (IBM original) and will lay my hands on 4.01. Which works best? MicroSoft or IBM? Version? None of these seems to work for me!! Either the emulator or whole system locks up after 5-10 secs of DOS load. I am getting desperate!! I know there are many of you who have ATonce, there might even be few with ATonce connected to A2000. So if you have ANY hints, workarounds or downright "forget it":s, please email.
