[A[BI have been trying to hook up either an internal or an external 3.5" 720K drive to an XT BridgeBoard with no luck and I need help. I have tried a new BridgeBoard, a new Amiga, a new cable, and a new drive. No luck. The system is configured with a 10 meg pseudodisk on the Amiga side. When I try to read the drive the lite comes on, but I get a SEEK ERROR and if I try to format it, I get a WRITE PROTECTION VIOLATION. I have put the DRIVPARM entry in the config.sys file. However if I use the complete one with all the track and sector stuff as listed in the BB manual it tells me BAD OR MISSING COMMAND IN CONFIG.SYS FILE during bootup. If I just use the first two entries and allow the rest to default, all seems well, but it doesn't work. The only thing I have not yet tried is using a non-twisted drive cable, but since it seems to be selecting the drive OK, that hasn't been high on my list. Can any one see what I'm doing wrong and help me out. BTW Strange as it seems I did this a couple of years ago and don't remember having any problem with it.
