[comp.sys.amiga.hardware] Can an A2000 support a 65 lb monitor placed on top of it?

Well, has anyone tried this? Does anyone from Commodore know?

This wouldn't be a Zenith 1490/1491 would it? If it is (and you
havn't bought it already) check out the 1492 which is mostly identical
except case is smaller and about 15 lbs lighter.

I stood on an A2000 once (I was 203 pounds as measured last Tuesday), but not
for an extended period of time.

Hey Dave, there was a picture in the July 1990 issue of INFO magazine
of most of the guys that worked on the 3000. It even mentions your name.
If you ever saw the picture could you tell us which one is you. If not,
could you describe yourself so we could pick you out!

As I recall, I was leaning on the right (stage left) of the A3000, wearing
dark shades.
