Yesterday I bought the new Amigaword (*) and on page 45 saw and ad for ICD's
new hard drive for amiga 500 owners. What it is is similar to their IDE
controller except that it connects a 3.5" quantum in the area where your
internal used to be. With a hardware modification, your external disk drive now
becomes DF0: and you have an internal 52/105 meg HD for your 500. You need the
AdIDE controller to use hte Prima thing. Has anyone else seen it and have any
comments on it?
(*) Is it just me or do newstands get the new AW's before subscribers? I always
get my subscription iussues a week after I see it hit the stands.
