The main partition on my Seagate ST296N SCSI drive will not validate correctly. When booting I get a system Requester that say: Error Validating Disk Key 77180 Already Set. I am using an A2091 controller with it. After I hit cancel, the data appears to be there (EXCEPT for one directory, whcih seems to have vanished). Of course I can not write to the drive (at least that partition) because it is not validated. I don't really want to anyway, as I may have to try and recover missing files. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do to get it working again? (other than the obvious backing up and re-formatting, which will have to wait until I get another hard drive (in the mail now)) Any help would be MUCH appreciated!
