Hey all, I finally got my C.Ltd Controller to recognise the archive Tape drive...(The Archive kept freezing the bus when my Seagate Hard drive was powered up...so I powered it down, and pretented the Tape drive was DH0:) but it says the tape is "NOT A DOS DISK", of course because there is no filesystem...Anyway, now that I've got the drives attention, does anyone know how to make amigaDOS write to the tape ANYWAY??? even though it is "NOT A DOS DISK"...ANY INPUT WOULD BE APPRECIATED.. I tried "formatting" the tape with the AMIGADOS format command format drive dh0: name "tape1:" QUICK and the drive moved, then stopped and format just returned (no error message) Maybe a "Low Level FORMAT" would work?? ..
