Sorry, I can't get this message to you through e-mail.

  Tim,

I remember reading a post to NOTES/NEWSNET you made back in late March or
early April talking about using the Viper 2060S / 2150S SCSI tape drives with
your CLtd SCSI controller. I just got a Viper 2060 and maybe getting a 2150
soon. I hooked up the 2060 and did a CLtd inquire and it does identify and
see's the unit there. I had it at Select code 1 and my Hard Drive is at 0.
At this point this is all I really know what to do with it. I was hoping you
might be able to walk me through all of the configuring of the MountList &
DevSetup files plus how and what utilities I could use for backing up my
200 Mb Rodine Drive. If you could send me e-mail copies of your two files
plus instructions on how to use this device I would be most thankful. Do I
need to format the tapes (650 ft) low or high level ? Do I treat it just like
a disk drive ? What utilities can I use ? (I have Quarterback now for HD ->
to floppy backup) I just pulled TABU and TAR off of the NET. TABU appears to
be written for the HardFrame Controller and TAR is like the UNIX version for
the Amiga. Since my Drive is 200Mb, I will need to backup across several tapes.
Is this possible ? And a million more questions I could ask at this point ;-)
Please include information about the 2150S as well.

Thanks in advance for all help you can give me,

       Alan
