[comp.sys.amiga.hardware] KCS Power Board

Does anyone use the KCS Power Board for running terminal software?

I have recently joined Uni and they supplied an MSDOS version of kermit. The
program will run but seems to lock up when operating on 2400 baud. Characters
are being sent to the modem and transmitted but I am getting nothing back to
the screen. The software runs fine on a normal IBM.

All my work involves using Turbo Pascal and it would be nice to be able to use
the kermit software under IBM mode instead of returning to Amiga mode and
logging on under GPTerm. GPTerm only supports VT100 and the keyboard cannot be
programmed, whereas kermit uses VT320 mode and I can remap the keyboard to
make text file editing easier.

Any help would be appreciated.

Has anyone heard of any upgrades to the original KCS Board ie. Hard Disk
support and EGA support?

Thanx P.Lock

Hi from New Zealand......this is my first msg on Usenet, so forgive
me if my message isn't in the same format as everyone else's!

Anyway - I was wondering if anyone out there knows anything about the
above-mentioned bit of hardware - a PC emulator for the A500. I've read
an article on it, but would like to hear from someone who has used on.

Bye from Kiwiland....
