I have an A500 w/ a Trumpcard500. I'm interested in adding another hard drive in addition to my current 80Mb. However, the cable from the controller to the drive has no visible method of connecting another drive. So my questions are: Having a lot of experience with i*m disk controllers and hardware (not by MY choice - blame it on my empoyers!!!!), but virtually none with SCSI drives, what will I need to do to add a second hard drive to the controller? IVS sells a kit of cables, etc. for expanding, but what to do escapes me. This is my uneducated guess: Replace the 50-pin cable (controller->drive) with one that has an extra length of cable & plug on it (controller->drive->another drive). Attatch the "another drive" plug to the new hard drive, along with power supply, and put into drive housing. This seems reasonable, but it seems that the drives wouldn't know who the SCSI controller's signals were for. ANY information along these lines would be MUCH appreciated. adTHANKSvance!!!! james #include <std_disclaimer> #include <cute_sig>
