Hi me yet again, WellI have been wondering for some time know about the best way to upgrade my amiga that included if I should go for a completly new setup ie buying a 3000 well I have decided to ask a couple of questions to try and set my mind straight on this, Well naturaly I would like the best upgrade that I can get for the price(who doesn't) well here are the questions : But first heres my setup : 1. A500 ks 1.3( rev 5.1 I think). 2. Datel 1/5 meg exspansion(trap door). 3. A590 20meg harddisk(1/5 meg). 4. Second Cumana Disk drive. 5. Phillips CM8833 monitor. 6. Pannosonic KX-P 1180 9 pin dot matrix. Is it possible to get this sort of set up(obviously with a lot of extras) working at close to the performance of one of the higher end A300's. Now I know that this would involve Accelerater cards and other such things including a higher res monitor and the ECS to get the extra modes and that but if I want the sort of performance of an A300 is it better to get an A3000 or what? I happend to have had my amiga a long time and know a fair amount about it, but when it comes to this sort of thing I leave it alone and ask for advice. Please E-Mail me and ill summerise to the rest of the world. PS. Sorry if the english Spelling is not spot on( I am english) but my english is not the best Dyslexic you know!
