Hi all, I have a friend who is selling his GVP series I 500 hard drive. Thats the one that plugs into the left hand side of an A500. But! He is not selling the drive component, st147n, just the controller, case, power supply etc. I work at DEC and have access to borrowing some quite large scsi half height drives that will fit into the GVP case but I need to know if they are compatible! The drives we have range from 104 megs to 330 megs in a 3.5 inch half height scsi 2 format. Are these types of drives suitable for the GVP controller ? Someone is going to say the GVP is scsi 1 only right!?!?! regards, Walter
