*** REPLACE THIS LINE WITH YOUR MESSAGE *** A few months ago their seemed to be interest in sharing Astromonical software on the net. In particular, their was interest in programs to define planetary positions. I am in the middle of working on such a program and have posted it on net.sources. While it is incomplete, it does work for finding the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars. It is written in C and runs on a VAX 11/780 - AT&T Unix system V. You may have to do some hacking to make it fly on other systems. I plan on finishing it for the outer gas giants but they are harder to determine and it probably won't be until after the first of the year until I get to it.
