As my next project, I've been considering building a discrete-component active crossover. An ideal unit would use all J-FETs and have variable crossover points. I would appreciate info from anyone who has tried this or can point me towards some pertinent articles. I am also unsure as to what slope to use. So far I've considered using third order Bessel or fourth order Linkwitz-Riley. Any opinions? Thanks in advance! -- Seth J.
