Can anyone out there provide me with opinions/reviews/information concerning the Sony's STR-D2010 reciever and JSEngineering's model 1 speakers ? What types of benefits are realized when digital signal processing is incorporated throughout an entire system ? Is this to be the next generation in the audio industry or is this just some "neat" little gimmick ? Does sound produced by the 'Infinite Slope' 100db crossover justify serious consideration ? Please post or E-mail any responses .... What types of benefits are realized when hi, I have heard the JSE 1 sometimes back. The listening room could HAve been better, but the JSE was still quite impressive. It has quite a warm overall tonality, and should compares favorably with Thiel, Vandersteen, etc. Interestingly, I have talked to a dealer that carries both the Fried and JSE. He claimed the JSE is better than similarly priced Fried. I have not heard the Fried however. BTW, I didn't hear anything special because of the > 100dB crossover. But it's a well engineered, good sounding speaker. casey
