Has anybody used these or similar products in his system? I'm curious because I've used variacs (with RF and EMI filtering) for my tube power amps for a number of reasons and have been told the TICE products will do a better job. The variacs allow me to leave the amps on all the time at 1/4 voltage, thus avoiding on/off transients and consequently shortened tube life, and further provide the benefit of isolating the amps form line power grundge, spikes, etc. There is an audible improvement in the sound obtained with these units in place. I would like to hear especially from anyone who has used the TICE products, but also from anyone using using any kind of filtering, isolation, or energy storage device(s) in his system. -- Ed Whittemore uunet!maxed!ed American Micro Group 201 944 3293
