The Mercury Living Presence midline CD's have shown up in a local Sam Goodys music store. I picked up 2 of the 5 that seemed to be available. After listening to them via modified magnavox CD player, I decided that I would continue to pursue the LPs I collect. On another note, My local Rotel Dealer got the bitstream model 865 player and found it sounded bright for the first week or so of playing, and then broke in, to be preferable to the Adcom CD player he also sells. The Phillips Bitstream model has continued to dissappoint him for all the months he has had it in his store. -Ed Berger eb15@andrew.cmu.edu
