Hi,
I agree about the merits of Spectral electronics but can not muster
much enthusiam for their CD player (especially in comparison to the far
less expensive Proceed player). A suityable choice in speakers for
these electronics are the Quad ESL-63 (US Monitors) modified by Jerry
Crosby with help from folks at Spectral. Suitable choice in cable would
be the MIT Shotgun (which, in my opinion, sounds really awful in any
system other than that by Spectral....curious enough). And for the
Spectral Moving Coil cartridge, get a Versa Dynamics 2.0 or 1.0. Total
cost of Package : Close to $30,000 !!!
