Has anyone heard about JBL's new "Project K2" speaker? I saw an article about it when I was in Japan, but cannot locate any of these things now that I'm back in the United States. The local JBL dealers have no idea about what I'm talking about and I'm having trouble getting in contact with JBL directly. Has anyone heard of it? One speaker is about 3' tall with a 2.5' square base. It seems to be a stack of 3 speakers, two large drivers on the top and bottom with a horn twetter in between. Its partially housed in clear plastic and otherwise fairly open, so you can see the guts. However, JBL's product designers did a good job; it looks very good "naked". My guess is that JBL is marketing it under another name in Japan, but no one seems to know the whole story. Can anyone help? BTW, this speaker seems to be quite the rage in Japan these days; everyone wants to replace all their old 4344's with this new model.
