* Does any anyone know how one can get an application note of the new
* bitstream chip from Philips, the 8350? I read some features in a
* hifi magazine and they seem interesting. The chip has two one.....
* and just yesterday I read a review of the new Deltec PDM1 Mk2
* converter which started using this chip too...............

I think you must mean the 7350 BS chip that Meridian are using in
the 600 series converters. In the UK Philips publish a little booklet
naming their official service centres, and these will supply you (at
a price) with any technical information, including full circuit diagrams
of their products etc.
I am fairly certain that the Deltec PDM1 mkII uses conventional 7323
bitstream chips, but in differential mode (the mkI was single ended).
Perhaps you are referring to Deltec's latest offboard converter,
due to go on sale here in December, called "The Little bit". This
supposedly uses 7350s and only costs 300 pounds.
If Philips can't supply details of the 7350 to you, then a company
called Audio Synthesis here is advertising the technical literature.
