Can anyone give me information about the AKAI Glass and XTAL Ferrite Head GX400D SS Quadra-Sync System? This is a reel-to-reel Tape Deck, 4 Channel, and 10" reel capacity. I'm having trouble with the tape speeds. I can not get tapes to play at normal speed. Everything plays too fast. Does anyone know if the AKAI company still exist? If so, how about an address for them. I'm also interested in manuals for this tape deck if anyone has one. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Tnks. ZN0HIRSCH@NARDACVA.NAVY.MIL
