"Passive" Preamp
----------------

In the April issue of Stereophile, Corey Greenberg said that
his home-brewed preamp bettered the Levinson No.26 and the Audio Research
SP-14:

"...my design simply places the [Precision Monolithics] BUF-03
on the wiper of the pot; signal source feeds the pot, pot feeds
the buffer, buffer feeds the output RCA jacks."

	Pot is a Penny & Giles 10K.

I would like to try this but I'm wondering if I need to add
an offset nulling circuit. Should I be concerned if my amp is DC-servo
coupled?

Thanks for any and all replies.
