Hello, I wish to find some technical papers/journals/reports specifications on the New Philips DCC format, as well as the various DAT systems, and the old CD format. I need them to write an essay on Digital Recording techniques for my Computer Science Honours course. I would appreciate any info that anybody wishes to share, whether it be contact addresses for Philips/Sony etc, both electronic and physical mail, or pointers to articles in trade journals or technical Journals, or just personal opinions on the differences, the effect on the music, and where the market is heading, and implications affecting the personal computer field in music generation and storage.
