[rec.audio.high-end] Penny-Giles pots

wdb@uunet.UU.NET (William D. Billowitch) (06/03/91)

Could someone please tell me the address of the manufacturer of the
Penny-Giles pots. They have the best feel of any pot in my opinion.
Secondly, does anyone have any data on the tracking of the two sections
of the pot ?

Rotary fader "matching accuracy":
Linear +/- 1%
Log +/- 1 dB 0 to -40 dB and +/- 2dB, 41 to 60 dB of attenuation.

Linear (stroke) faders (series 3000) matching accuracy":

45,65,70 and 83mm stroke +/- 2dB 0-30 dB of attenuation
104mm +/- 1dB 0 to 20dB and +/- 2dB 21 to 40 dB of attenuation.

P&G's are expensive. 104mm (linear stroke) unit cost is $58.80.

They are the best of their class.
