It appears that my tape deck is going to need a new head and I'm worried what it will sound like after the replacement. How critical is the head (mine is a single play/record head) to the sound? Has anybody had any experiance with this? What if I can't find the original equipment unit, should I try to use something else? Thanx in advance. Jonathan White whitejon@acf5.nyu.edu
