[rec.audio.high-end] Speaker help wanted

   Hello all,
        What speakers would you recommend for a 100 watt Adcom set up  
       (all 1991 models...CD player, amp, and preamp/receiver)?  The room
       is a average sized apartment living room but I don't want speakers
       that are necessarily designed for any specific room (I tend to move  
       quite often).  My musical taste is mixed, from Peter Gabriel to 
       the Rolling Stones to Janes Addiction and the Sex Pistols.  I also
       don't want anything that's over about 2 feet high (easier to move). 
       As for cost, I'd prefer that it wouldn't be over $1500 or so for the
       pair.   I've considered Keff 103 Reference Series (about $1100/pr)
       and Klipsch kg3 (about $600/pr).  I just wanted to see what ideas
       others may have.
