[rec.audio.high-end] Ozone from Apogees? Not mine...

kucharsk@Solbourne.COM (William Kucharski) (06/18/91)

I've had my Caliper Signatures for well over a year now and haven't noticed
any ozone production. They do produce an odor when new, but it smelled
like "new electronics" odor, not ozone. I'd also suspect that electrostatics
such as Martin-Logans would be more likely to produce ozone than planars like
the Apogee, but I digress.

In short, at least MY Apogees don't produce ozone, or if they did, they
certainly don't now.
