In Cooperation with Pace University's

This highly topical conference will focus on exciting recent
developments in 3-D imaging, display, viewing, and interac-
tivity. The two-day program will include exhibits, screen-
ings, workshops, and presentations in four major categories:

Scientific 3-D Visualization, and Virtual Realities and
Telepresence. Speakers are Steve Aubrey, Lenny Lipton,
David McAllister, Murray Lerner, Ken Musgrave, Kenneth Smel-
son, Ed Tannenbaum, Ari Kaufman, Ellen Sandor, George Sper-
ling, Kicha Ganapathy, Jesse Eichenlaub, and Phil Johnson,
all recognized experts in their fields.
Workshops will offer attendees hands-on demonstrations of
imaging and display techniques. An electronic theater, "Old
Dogs and New Tricks", will contrast the 3-D films of old
with state-of-the-art films from leading producers of com-
puter generated visuals. Additionally, a "flat art" show
and a multi-media slide show will celebrate stereo visuali-
zation.
The event will be held in historic downtown New York City,
easy to reach by both private and public transportation.
The event is open to the general public, as well as to com-
puter graphics professionals and educators.

[I figured this should be posted here, lest they take our
names in vain. Anyone have any details: is VR a central
paradigm for this conference, or merely a trendy tag-on?]
