[sci.virtual-worlds] Info wanted on Amiga Multimedia exhibit

gohel@screamer.csee.usf.edu (Himanshu Gohel) (12/05/90)

Hello,

Does anyone know who presented the Amiga hypermedia exhibit at this years
SIGGRAPH conference. I'm talking about is the one where you stand in
a little cubicle and the Amiga puts in back-ground scenes and objects, and then
you wave your arms around (like a fool :-) ) to grab the objects and transform
them to other objects.

I am interested in setting up a similar system (maybe of a lesser magnitude
of complexity) at our annual Engineering festival here at the University of
South Florida, in Tampa. It is an annual event called EXPO, that attracts
a lot of local people including high schoolers. I thought that that kind of
an exhibit would be well received and interesting.

Any pointers, especially e-mail addresses, of the creators would be greatly
appreciated. Any other ideas for exhibits would also be appreciated.

Please e-mail. Thanks
