Well, friends, it's time to take a week off and contemplate the Olympic Mountains and the Pacific Ocean while the snow continues to fall on sleepy Seattle. I'll be back refreshed after New Years. In the meantime, Mark DeLoura, who helped to set up this newsgroup and who cohabits the icy University of Washington campus, will be standing in as moderator.
