I originally posted this to comp.graphics and it was suggested I might have better luck here... I've writing a generic Unix device driver for our Data Glove. The problem is how to calibrate the glove? The calibration code that comes with the glove is a binary and only runs on our SGI's. It'd be nice to have the glove working on other machines! Anyhow, VPL will only tell me that it's a log table that needs to be loaded but they won't cough up any coefficients needed, just that it took them a long time to figure the coefficients out. So before I spend long hours (sniff;-) of trial and error - I'd appreciate it if anybody who has already done the above would help me out. Thanks. -- -Tim Hall tjh@bu-pub.bu.edu The night is filled with the cries of dispossessed children in search of paradise. -Dead Can Dance
