I am specifically looking for papers which discuss the problem of VR producing nausea. The newsgroup has referred to a (recent?) Scientific American article describing flight simulators but did not mention the month and year (or even the title), since the last year or so didn't have any articles with flight simulators as the main subject, does anyone know the reference? Various frame rates were bandied about here recently, and I'd really like to read some studies (if there are any) indicating frame rate preferences. Clearly the TYPE of image that is being presented could have something to do with the nausea effect. No hypotheses please, I'm only looking for papers containing _concrete_ results from actual studies. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. Please reply to the address below. Thanks, R.
