Bob, You asked for opinions about artificial life topics in sci.virtual-worlds. From my perspective, artificial life is one of many possible application areas for virtual worlds. So postings which connect artificial life to virtual worlds are highly welcome, as are postings concerning other application areas. Postings that deal exclusively with artificial life, without VW connections or context, do not seem appropriate, much as postings about molecular modeling or architecture without VW connections or context would not seem appropriate to me.
