* "Telepresence -a new concept for teleconferencing". *

The workshop will highlight the technical and telecommunication related
problems which occur then Telepresence is used for teleconferencing.
The workshop will work as forum to discuss this problems and as an information
of ongoing research and development of equipment in the area.
The following kind of sessions will be scheduled:
- Invited tutorials that focus on the state of the art and the current
research.
- Round table discussions to present and discuss open problems in different
research topics.
The following topics of interest is suggested:
* 3D scene representation.
* Human body modeling.
* Body movement detection.
* Image representation.
* Real time image generation.
* Data sharing and task allocation.
* Facial feature detection.
* Artificial 3D sound generation.
* Special purpose processors.
* Display helmets.

The workshop will take place in Linkoping 24-25 October 1991.
Deadline for extended abstract (1500 words): Aug.1st.
Authors will be notified of the acceptance of their papers by Aug. 24th.
