There's a quote (forgive me, I don't have the source in front of me)
that goes: 

   "Those who think that entertainment and education have nothing
   to do with each other, don't know the first thing about either."

Afterall, if our forms of entertainment such as theatre and literature
had no socially redeeming values to explore/communicate/teach us, why
would we keep them around?

Along these lines, is anyone out there working to utilize VR as medium
for new artforms? I'm currently reading Brenda Laurel's "Computers as
Theatre" and am finding it quite insightful, and inspirational for
theatre based VR artforms. Are their other recommendations?
