Help Help HELP HELP !! !! !! I'm having a serious problem with nn, and am not sure where to start looking. Any advice which you could give would be greatly appreciated. Nn is running on my machine (a Vaxstation 3200 running Ultrix-32 V3.0). However, it appears to be causing crashes. I'm unsure whether these are due to something wrong with nn, or something wrong with the configuration of my machine. I am running nn locally, since it is unsupported by my department. However, I'm accessing the news directory remotely via an NFS mount. When nn is running, I get error messages of "Gnode: table is full". If you have any idea what this means, and/or what I can do about it, please help! I first installed nn last Oct. It ran fine for about a month (I think) and then I started getting the gnode error. When I stopped running nn in Nov, to ensure that it was related to the problem, my machine ran correctly for about two months. Now I've just installed all the most recent patches a few days ago hoping that one of them might solve my problem, but no such luck. I re-inited the database last night, and came in to find the machine crashed this morning. I am running nn Release 6.3, Patch Level 10, Compilation 61. Please Help! I've been running nn long enough to get addicted to it. I don't know whether I'll survive a return to rn. :) If you need any other information from me to help diagnose the problem, feel free to email me... Thanks, Jon jcargill@cs.wisc.edu
