Sometimes someone asks a question and everybody starts suggesting things about it. If you feel that you cannot keep your opinions for yourself please use e-mail. The volume of postings is getting too high and it is almost impossible to keep up, so please post only when it is necessary that we all can read it. About the automated extraction: I managed to automate it with two small scripts, one in csh, the other in awk. Since GNU-awk is available, awk is also available in every machine. The csh script can easily be converted to Bourne shell or even a DOS batch file. If that prooves to be too complicated I think it can also be written in C, Pascal or other and compiled for every machine.
