I just got nn/nntp up and running between our sun and our 386. The nn/nntp client successfully reads news from the server. However, I attempted to post to the server, but these tests failed. Why? The nntp_access file grants the client the right to post. I have used both the inews that came with the distribution as well as the inews that came with nn to attempt the post. nntpxfer, nntpxmit, and nntpsend currently reside in /bin. I got no (obvious) errors. Where is logging performed (system is BSD)? The client has no other software besides nntp and nn installed.
