Hi, I'm setting up local news groups at this site and I need to be able to send posted articles to some of these groups to distribution lists. I've achieved this be moderating these groups and setting up an alias for the moderator which sends mail to the list and passes the article back to the news group with the approved header - as suggested by mikel@com.teradyne.eda.teda, many thanks again. It all seems to work OK except for one thing. Posters are informed that the group is moderated. This is OK for the likes of postnews, rn, vnews etc. as the mesage is displayed on standard output, but with nn, the sendered recieves mail to the effect of 'this board is moderated, sent to moderator, article in dead.letter'. I expect this will annoy frequent posters to these groups so I was wondering if anyone knows how to supress these messages for these local groups only - either at the 'news' level or for nn only?
