(HALIFAX) There's may be a major development in National Sea Product's plans to close fish processing plants in Atlantic Canada. The company says it has reached an agreement in principle with Nova Scotia and Ottawa over its Canso plant. National Sea also says on it will present a plan for processing in St John's, Newfoundland, to its board of directors Tuesday. No further details are available. But the announcement suggests both plants may be kept open.
