(TORONTO) The suspect in last week's crime spree across southern Ontario is in Toronto's Don Jail tonight. Peter John Peters made an appearance at Old City Hall court Thursday, a day earlier than planned. His appearance was moved up because police feared mobs might threaten his life. Peters has been remanded in custody for a bail hearing next week. He faces more than two-dozen charges, including murder, sexual assault, kidnapping, and robbery.
