(ELMIRA, Ontario) The water contamination problem in Elmira, Ontario, seems to be getting worse. On Saturday, it was revealed the north wells are contaminated....Before, officials were only concerned with the south wells of the town. The cancer-causing chemical N-D-M-A was found in one of the north wells. Regional government has reacted by issuing an advisory that bottled water is available at the township firehall. Acting Wolwich Township mayor, David Lies (LEECE) says every effort is being made to find out why the water is contaminated.
