CAMBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS, U.S.A., 1990 FEB 2 (NB) -- Bolt, Beranek and Newman has announced that its BBN Systems and Technologies subsidiary has contracted with a West German company to provide the Combat Training Simulator for the Training of Armor Personnel, a simulator for the German Leopard 2 tank. BBN pioneered electronic weapons simulation software for the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency and the U.S. Army. This SIMNET system simulates more than 200 aircraft and ground vehicles.
