ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA, U.S.A., 1990 JAN 10 (NB) -- Calcomp has joined Nippon Steel and Sumitomo Corp. in a new Tokyo-based computer graphics company called NS CalComp. NS CalComp is a result of the sale of shares of Nippon CalComp K.K., a wholly owned CalComp subsidiary. Nippon Steel purchased 51 percent while Sumitomo bought 5 percent for a total price of $20 million. CalComp retains the remaining 44 percent interest. Hiroyuki Kishikawa, formerly CalComp's director of Pacific Operations, has been named president of NS CalComp. Joining him on the board of directors for the company will William P.
