SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, 1990 JAN 30 (NB) -- Receivers of high-end PC house Microcomp Australia have sold the dealership division's Canberra branch as well as the software division of the troubled company. BIS Banking Systems has bought the software division, and will continue to market the main product of the division, DR-one, a dealing room delivery system. With a turnover exceeding AUS$5M last year in domestic and overseas markets, this division is expected to grow further with the opening of the Southeast Asian and European markets and the imminent release of a new version of the product. To take advantage of the Japanese market, a Kanji language version of the software has been developed. HiSoft Computers acquired the dealership division's Canberra branch. The remaining divisions of Microcomp Australia will continue to be run by the appointed receivers until they are able to be sold.
